Seeing as how these's comparatively tiny traffic in this group despite
the rabid affinity all sensible people feel for Bill, and considering
the fact that I have already established my own place in the Hicks
rep-spreading hall of fame*, I couldn't help but notice the small but
appreciative response to my posting of a link to a Bill-related music
mash-up the other day. Thus, if one or two (or more) people follow up
this notice with a request that I continue to do so, I will gladly make
the small effort required to continue posting Hicks links (mostly
musical/mash-up related but also other kinds) as I run across them. No
replies to this post means you don't care if I do so or not.
Have a good life either way -- it's just a ride, after all!

*(My qualifications: I'm indirectly responsible for Bil's contract with
Rykodisc; it was supposedly Mercury Records' Ed Hamell who convinced
the Ryko bigwigs to do the deal, after I had inundated Ed with hours &
hours worth of Hicks video back in the early 1990s. I also wrote a
major article called "Overdue Bill" in the mid-90s bemoaning the long
time it was taking for the man's post-mortem material to become
commercially available, and (blush) I scripted the "news team" dialogue
which bridges the original "Arizona Bay" ending with the chaotic bonus
material that Booth added on to the end to full the longer CD space
that wasn't anticipated by Bill during his lifetime in the LP era.)
