Can cars be haunted too?

I saw a forensic show on tv about how more people die in cars than houses. 

The members of a crime clean up service said that they were more afraid of
the 
cars once clean and resold than actual houses.  I thought it was an 
interesting comment.  Apparently, cars are a popular place to commit
suicide 
and murder.  

What does anyone think about ths topic?
