You got that right! Short-tempered. By his own words, doesn't know
much about the economy. AFAIK, doesn't know much about foreign
relations either. His thinking is stuck nearly 40 years ago in the
Vietnam of his POW ordeal.
The Internet is full of his REAL background -- as opposed to the
image his handlers are concocting.
Start with:
http://www.godlikeproductions.com/forum1/message495961/pg1
about his iffy Naval career, eased ( a la Bush) because of his truly
distinguished Naval father and grandfather.
Then go to:
http://www.aflcio.org/issues/politics/mccain_bush.cfm
to see how slavishly he votes the Bush line.
And in any event we have to put a stop to the packing of the Supreme
Court with reactionary jurists. The next president has to reverse that
flow.
How about starting with the Senate Judiciary Committee, where that
bunch of pussies -- including Feinstein, one of my senators -- just
waves their antennae feebly and gives a pass to whatever nominee the
Administration throws at them. Look at the recent decisions of Alito
and Roberts! Their pro-business backgrounds were WELL known, and
yet the media blitz was all about fear of reversing Roe v Wade.
We have a bunch of youngish reactionaries. They are the real power in
making long term policy for the USA.\
We sure do! Very few are aware of the armies of young attorneys being
turned out by the "Christian" (NOT!) oriented law schools.
Go to:
http://www.pbs.org/wnet/religionandethics/week903/feature.html
for just ONE.
Also: http://www.bestandworst.com/v/81413.htm
Lots of other sites. It's an open secret that these young "Christian"
fanatics are then infiltrated into many branches of government,
bringing their theocratic perspective to the deliberate dismantling of
our Constitution and Bill of Rights.
The same thing is happening, big time, in our military, especially the
Air Force. That bunch of religious crazies up in Colorado Springs are
****ing on the Constitution with impunity, backed by the Head
Religious Crazy in the White House.
Go to: http://www.militaryreligiousfreedom.org/
and see what one man and his sons, a patiotic military family are
doing to track down and reveal unConstitutional practices at the Air
Force Academy and elsewhere in the military. Officers in command are
putting pressures on their subordinates to kiss up to their religious
mania or suffer the consequences.
This is very, very serious! The results are showing up in Iraq,
as soldiers are caught distributing Christian texts and objects
to Iraquis, trying to hustle their religion. We don't have
enough trouble already in the Muslim world without these
totally illegal actions making it worse!!!
This must stop. So, we have to gamble on a weak reed in Obama and
elect him.
You never know. Presidents have been known to grow in office.
Let's hope for the best; we have no choice, after the disgusting
***ist treatment meted out by the media to Hillary.
