popular science spoof

by john <john_post04@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jul 29, 2006 at 03:56 PM

Hello,

First time here. I'm not a big Mad Magaziner. I did ejoy them
back in the 60s.

One article I really liked was from back then (as best I can recall)
when I read both Mad Magazine and Popular Science.

Popular Science (and could have as easily applied to Popular
Mechanics) had a large element of do-it-yourself articles.
How to make things, repair things and modify things.

Well a one pager (I recall) did a circular take one tool and make it
into another toll, which you used to make another tool into another
tool and this went on until you ending up modifying a tool to become
the first tool you had.

Anyone recall this one?

What was the sequence of tools?

Would like to know for a joke with DIY friends.

thanks
